The double-layered boiling pot, also known as a slow cooker or a water bath cooker, operates on the principle of using steam and the heat of boiling water to cook food slowly. Boiling water always remains at a maximum temperature of 100°C, and therefore, ensures that the food is cooked slowly at a low temperature, minimizing the risk of spillage or burning. Special dishes such as porridge or stew will retain their full nutritional value and create a natural, delicious flavor. The STEW 4 is characterized by a 1.6L porcelain pot, a large steaming compartment, and six preset cooking modes, as well as convenient timer and countdown functions for all modes.
1. DESIGN & USAGE
The principle of the sous-vide cooking method.
- The double-boiler pot is specially designed with two pots. The cooking ingredients must be placed inside the smaller pot, which is then placed into the larger pot filled with boiling water. The smaller pot is made of heat-conductive glass, which has excellent heat retention capabilities. The inner lid prevents steam from escaping, while the dome-shaped outer lid allows excess water to escape.
- The water in the outer pot must be regularly replenished to ensure that no liquid evaporates and thus, no loss of nutrients or flavor occurs. This allows the food to retain its essence – flavor, medicinal properties, nutritional value, moisture – to provide maximum benefits.
Based on the above principle, the sous-vide cooking method provides several convenient features such as anti-spill, anti-burn, and energy efficiency.
Outstanding features
- 5 preset cooking modes are available: STEAM/SOUP/PORRIDGE/CONGEE/STEW/YOGURT, and the cooking time can be adjusted to suit the ingredients and taste. In addition, there is an automatic keep-warm function set after the cooking process is finished.
- Safe material: With a modern design, made of ceramic material that is non-toxic, anti-spill, anti-scratch, and easy to clean, the Fatz Baby sous vide cooker is an indispensable item for families with babies entering the weaning stage.
- The pot is controlled by buttons and an LED screen displaying time (timer, countdown, warm-up time). Simple and convenient operation.
- Safe ceramic pot with a large capacity of 1.6L.
- It has a wide steaming compartment that allows for steaming and slow cooking at the same time.

- DO NOT add cold water to a hot ceramic pot.
- DO NOT heat the pot when there is no ingredient or water inside.
- After use, turn the control knob to OFF and unplug the cord.
